1. Chinese Chess Tournament - November 18
Hey CESA members,
Are you like so many of our executives; avid Chinese Chess players? Well, now you can play for fun at our first annual Chinese Chess tournament! The tournament will be held in the SF Atrium starting at 5:00pm on November 18th! Here are the details:
Tournament: Bracket style, timed format (30 minute playoff games, 60-minute final game)
Registration: Sign-up at SF Atrium from Tuesday to Thursday in the next two weeks!
Fees: MEMBERS: $8 (includes tournament seat + dinner)
NON-MEMBERS: $10 (includes tournament seat + dinner)
Spaces available: first 32 to pay Registration Fee
Champion Prize: $50
Runner-up Prize: $20
If you do not know how to play, here is an excellent opportunity to learn so come out and watch for a while! For the rest of you all; the elite competitors, may the best player win!
2. 2012 Movie Night - November 13 - Who Will Survive 2012?
Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. '2012' is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. Date: November 13th, 2009 (Release Date) Time: TBA (At night) Location: AMC (Yonge and Dundas) Costs: $3.50 per ticket (Partially subsidized by CESA) Availability: 20 spots (First come, first served). Please drop by CESA booth in SF Atrium from 12-2pm on Tues-Thurs to reserve a spot.

CESA presents clubbing event of the year with alliance clubs UTCSA, SCCC, HKSA, McMaster HKSA, Ryerson and Waterloo !!

ATTENTION ALL BADMINTON ENTHUSIASTS!
CESA will be holding our very first Badminton Tournament on next Saturday, October 24th! This is a great opportunity for members to compete, interact and socialize in a friendly sports setting. Spots are LIMITED, so sign up with a partner ASAP at our booth from 12pm - 2pm on Tuesday to Thursday. There will be a $100 Cash Prize for the winning team, along with prizes for the 2nd placed team as well! Registration fee is $5 per person ($10 per team) for members, and $6/person ($12/team) for non-members.
